Each year, we are bombarded by publications providing us with lists of the most stunning women on Earth. Such rankings might be voted for by the public, or they might just be compiled at an editor’s discretion. But recently, a mathematical equation has been utilized to establish a definitive answer – and it’s apparently model Bella Hadid.

Before the results of this study had been publicized, Hadid had already gained a reputation for her beauty. Having started her modeling career at the tender age of 16, the now-23-year-old is widely known throughout the industry. In fact, in 2016 she emerged as the winner of the Model of the Year Awards, which was decided upon by those from within the sector.

Additionally, though, in October 2019 news spread of an equation which had deemed Hadid as the world’s most beautiful woman. This was the so-called Golden Ratio of Beauty Phi, which is said to have arisen during the Renaissance in Europe. Back then, it was utilized by artists in the hope of aiding their work.

Recently, the Golden Ratio of Beauty Phi was used by a cosmetic surgeon named Dr. Julian De Silva. Measurements of people’s faces were inputted into a computer, and their so-called “golden ratio” was subsequently worked out. De Silva was quoted by the Daily Mail newspaper as saying, “Bella Hadid was the clear winner when all elements of the face were measured for physical perfection.”

Other famous faces, meanwhile, came close to taking the title of the world’s most beautiful from Hadid. Just behind her, in fact, was singer Beyoncé, who possessed a ratio only marginally less impressive than the young model. Also considered notable were Ariana Grande, Scarlett Johansson, Natalie Portman and Taylor Swift.
